Do you ever feel like no matter how hard you try you get caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of life? I know I do, more often than I would like. I get sidetracked and unmotivated so easily. I have a terrible habit of postponing things, and when tomorrow is here, I tend to delay again and again. Tomorrow will be here, but then I still do not do what I planned. It's a bad cycle that I cannot seem to get myself to break. I get so frustrated and start talking down to myself, believing the lies of the enemy.

They all start with YOU ARE NOT

The list of "you are not's" could go on and on for days. However, I realized that I must STOP the negative thoughts and just try my best to do the things I need to do, and things I want to do, or feel called to do. I don't know if I have any wisdom to share, any motivation to share, or anything worth sharing but I feel like it's worth a shot. I don't know who or if anyone will come here to read but if I can inspire, motivate and possibly comfort only one person then so be it.

I write here in my little corner of the world wide web in hopes of improving my writing and sharing my short journey in this life and most importantly sharing the blessings God has blessed me with, and most importantly sharing God and his love. I have let the lies/fear keep from here, but I am done allowing lies/fear to control me, and prevent me from achieving my goals.

As it says in Proverbs 3:5-7 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your

ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil." I am turning away from evil, not allowing it to keep me stagnant, trusting in the Lord and his guidance here.

There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1

When you start to doubt yourself and believe that you don’t have what it takes to accomplish a task, remember that Jesus says you can do all things when you abide in him. Any voice you hear that is in opposition to that is from the evil one.

The enemy (devil) is known as the accuser (Rev 12:10) And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. NASB

Also known as the destroyer (Rev 9:11) They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).NIV Liar and father of lies (John 8:44) You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.NIV The enemy (Matt 13:49) So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous. ESV

If you hear accusations that sound like “you are”

You are weak

You are dumb

You aren’t good enough

Those are lies and come form satan.

Jesus sets us free (John 8:36) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.ESV Jesus is our peace (Ephesians 2:14) For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.ESV Jesus is our Redeemer (Job 19:25) For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.ESV Creator (John 1:1-4) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. He is the TRUTH (John 8:32) and he is the Victorious One (Rev 3:21)

Jesus speaks to us with love and truth. Scripture reveals God as loving creator. The Lord is upright, he is my rock. There is no evil in Him (psalm 92:15). If we meditate daily on who God is, and what he says about us, we can be certain when we hear the voice of the enemy.

I have no idea if this makes any sense. I hope it does. I hope you have a blessed day!

What is holding you back from (____FILL IN THE BLANK____)?
